One of my friends died while in college. His death was an extremely powerful experience for me. While mourning, I examined many of the decisions I had taken for granted in my own life. As a result of this exploration I made some very significant life changes. The opportunity for wisdom that an experience grants has left a powerful impression on my thinking.

I am interested in constructing experiences for art viewers. My hope is to manipulate sculpturally an event that does not exist in the everyday. I also hope that this experience contains some of the key elements that create powerful experiences in life. It is within the experience that I hope the viewer discovers the aesthetic of my art.
